Why are resources printing with black squares instead of images?

Find out ways to print PDF classroom resources with proper image display.

If you are using an Apple device with iOS or MacOS, you may experience some trouble printing PDF resources through the default PDF viewer Preview.

To resolve this issue, try the following:

1. Use a different PDF viewer. We recommend Adobe Acrobat Reader.

2. If using Adobe Acrobat, when you go to print, expand the Advanced Settings and check the Print as Image box. (Other programs may have a different name for this setting).

3. Print the PDF as normal.
