How do I respond to the Emotion Check-in?

The Emotion Check-in is a practice that helps students reflect on how they are feeling.

The Emotion Check-in consists of 3 parts:

  1. An initial check-in
  2. A recorded activity
  3. A follow up question

To complete the Emotion Check-in:

  1. Select a response to the How are you feeling? question by exploring the 5 categories (the 5 icons) and then clicking on the emotion that best represents how you are feeling.

  2. Select why you are feeling that emotion.
  3. Participate in the recorded activity.
  4. Using the same icons as the first question, follow up with How are you feeling now?
